It is more and more common for people to look online for Extra Long Beds or just a Long Bed or Mattress for a tall teenager or child, not to mention adults, in a 3ft Single Size which is long enough to provide a good nights sleep without having to go to the expense of buying a 5ft wide wide. UK Standard Lengths for 3ft Single, 4ft Small Double or 4ft6 Standard Double is only 6ft3 (or 190cm in metric). We are often asked by people who have purchased a bed from Ikea if we are able to provide a Extra Long Mattress, this is usually just a case of confirming the exact size required then if we don't have one in stock we can get one made to order very quickly.
